一种用于EPDM绝热层粘接的预涂覆型无溶剂胶黏剂的制备与性能研究

    Preparation and properties of a pre-coated solvent-free adhesive for EPDM insulation bonding

    • 以端羟基聚丁二烯(HTPB)和环氧树脂E-51为主要原料合成了环氧改性丁羟胶(ETPB)、丙烯酸酯改性丁羟胶(ATPB)及环氧丙烯酸酯(EA)三种树脂,将三种合成树脂与环氧树脂E-51、助剂按照一定比例混合,配制了一种用于粘接三元乙丙橡胶(EPDM)绝热层与固体火箭发动机壳体的无溶剂胶黏剂。该胶黏剂可以预先涂敷在EPDM片材表面并用紫外光辐照制成以EPDM为底材的压敏胶片,方便储存和贴片,胶片室温稳定、高温可固化。基于正交实验对胶黏剂中4种主要成分的添加比例进行了优化。结果表明,当添加环氧树脂E-51、ETPB、ATPB和EA的质量含量分别为39.0%、23.5%、23.5%、6.0%时,该无溶剂胶黏剂的粘接性能最优;相应压敏胶片的环形初粘力为8.33 N,与碳纤维复合材料、铝材料粘贴并热固化后的剥离强度分别为4.32、4.49 kN/m。

       

      Abstract: Epoxy-modified HTPB (ETPB), acrylate-modified HTPB (ATPB) and epoxy acrylate (EA), were synthesized from hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene (HTPB) and epoxy resin E-51 as the main raw materials. These three kinds of synthetic resins were mixed with epoxy resin E-51 and additives in a certain mass ratio to prepare a solvent-free adhesive for bonding ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) insulation and solid rocket motor case. For the convenience of storage and pasting, the adhesive was pre-coated on the surface of an EPDM sheet and irradiated by ultraviolet light to form a kind of pressure sensitive adhesive sheet with EPDM as the substrate. This pressure sensitive adhesive sheet is stable at room temperature and could be cured at high temperature. Based on orthogonal experiment, the proportions of the four main components in the adhesive were optimized. The results show that the bonding performance of the solvent-free adhesive is the best when the addition amounts (mass content) of epoxy resin E-51, ETPB, ATPB and EA are 39.0%, 23.5%, 23.5% and 6.0%, respectively. The ring initial adhesion of the pressure sensitive adhesive sheet is 8.33 N. The peel strengths of pressure sensitive adhesive sheet bonded with carbon fiber composite and aluminum material after thermal curing are 4.32 kN/m and 4.49 kN/m respectively.
